Laughter

This is a layout that shows our everyday happiness. I truly believe laughter is the best medicine. I hope I can instill this in my son and that he can try to find enjoyment in everything in this world. I hope everyone has a beautiful day. TFL

 

Little Monster!!!

This layout was inspired by this sketch. This is a great sketch with tons of room to do your own thing. I really enjoyed the versatility of this sketch and plan to use it again.

It feels great to be able to get some scrap therapy and relax. I am out of classes for the summer. Finals kicked my butt. I finished with all A's. YEAH!!!! I have to send a shout out to my mom who just graduated from the RN program. She is such an inspiration and the hardest working and strongest person I know. I love you Mom. Thanks for everything.

What A MONTH!!

If anyone out there has moved in the past few months, I feel your pain. We just moved from an apartment to a beautiful house. It has been tough with school, work and the family, but we got it done. It is a great little place in a wonderful neighborhood and, we finally have a yard. YEAH!!! My DS has had a blast being able to go outside and have a place to run and play of his own. I did not realize how little privacy we had living in an apartment, until now. It feels good to have our own little place to call home. We still have a few things in boxes, but it is coming together nicely. I have definitely been having crafting withdrawals. Soon it will be summer and I will have more time to get things done. My DH and I were able to drive around and check out some of the local shops and I am so excited to say, we are surrounded by antique and thrift stores. I am in heaven!!! Now I have to figure out how to have a free minute at the same time I get a free buck to spend.

My POOR Blog!

Well to say the least I've been terribly busy. I went back to college after nine long years and I forgot how stressful that can be. On top of that my DH's work laid off several people, thankfully he was able to keep his job, but his schedule has changed a bit. I think now, halfway through the semester, we have figured out our new routine. I have not been able to do much scrapin but spring break is coming soon and I will have some free time. I really need some SCRAP therapy, I miss seeing a finished LO and the magic that happens in between or as my DH says the MESS! My son has been such a trooper through all of this change, I think he has accepted it better than me.


I hope to have a few LO's done soon. Hope everyone has a beautiful week.

Paper Bag Album

I made this album a while back and just now getting around to posting it. I have to say these are great little projects, fast, easy and fun. It is good to have the feeling of accomplishment when you start something from nothing and wind up with a great finished product. This is the first paper bag album that I did myself. I got the idea from MARION. Also check out her blog, you will get a ton of great ideas. I hope everyone has a beautiful day!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

What a great year it has been and i can't wait for what is to come. My New Years resolution is to post on my blog at least 4 times a week, spend some time doing something for myself at least once a week and exercise more. I don't do resolutions so i hope I can stick to it.

On a different note I start school on the 12th and i am officialy scared to death. It has been almost 10 years so alot has changed but it is time for a change in myself as well. Woots for me!!!




What a wonderful suprise for me. On the 28th of Dec I had surgery and my DH's work sent these wonderful flowers to me. Thank you ,it was the highlight of my day.
